I've been around horses my whole life. I know what it smells like at 6am on a winter yard. I know the particular silence of a horse that's listening. I know the difference between a horse that's performing and a horse that's present.
That knowledge — the kind that only comes from years of being in the horse world — is the foundation of everything CLM Media does.
Before founding CLM Media, I spent over a decade working in editorial media: writing, commissioning and directing content for print and digital publications. I learned how to find the story in anything, how to tell it with precision and warmth, and how to make an audience feel something.
When I brought those two worlds together — the horse world I grew up in and the editorial skills I'd spent years developing — CLM Media was born.
I started it because I kept seeing equestrian businesses with genuinely compelling stories being told in generic, forgettable ways. Content that could have been for anyone, about anything. It felt like a missed opportunity — and I knew I could do something about it.
Today, CLM Media works with equestrian businesses, western brands, riding holidays and rural lifestyle brands across the UK and beyond. Every project starts with the same question: what is the real story here, and how do we tell it in a way that makes people feel it?
